Analyst Roles
Deep-dive research, financial analysis, and market intelligence positions
Investment Analysts at CIBFS generate research at both the equity and fund levels, including stock pitches, sector analyses, and thematic reports. You will collaborate as a member of the Investment Research team under the supervision of the Head of Research. Your contributions will be published on LinkedIn, the CIBFS website, and will be integrated into the society's stock pitch competitions.
Market Analysts encompass the macroeconomic and cross-asset research divisions, including interest rates, foreign exchange, commodities, central bank decisions, and the key headlines influencing global markets on a weekly basis. You will collaborate within the Markets research team under the supervision of the Head of Research. Your contributions will serve as the foundation for our weekly "Markets Monday" summaries and comprehensive analyses on significant macroeconomic events.
M&A Analysts at CIBFS produce written research on live and recent mergers, acquisitions, and strategic deals. You'll work as part of the M&A research team under the Head of Research to publish pieces that go out on LinkedIn and the CIBFS website. The bar is plain-English clarity - we want students to actually read and learn, not skim past dense jargon
Corporate Club Functions
Operations, marketing, events, and organizational roles that keep the club running
The Marketing Manager is responsible for maintaining CIBFS's voice across Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and the website. A comprehensive operating manual, the CIBFS Marketing Plan, will be provided, outlining content pillars, tone, posting cadence, and approval procedures. Your role is to implement these guidelines consistently. This role determines whether a student who passes by our campus poster engages with our Instagram, follows our account, and attends an event. Emphasis is placed on content quality rather than financial expertise.
The HR Manager runs CIBFS's people operations, hiring, onboarding, internal records, and committee wellbeing. You'll own the full applicant pipeline for analyst and corporate function roles, coordinate interviews with the relevant heads, and make sure new joiners hit the ground running with proper onboarding. This is a high-trust role: you'll see applications, feedback, and committee dynamics that stay confidential.
